Cheapest Excavator Prices 2026: What to Watch When You Buy Cheap

7 min readMini Excavator

Everyone who types “cheapest excavator”, “cheap digger” or “mini excavator price” into Google has the same goal: to buy a machine that does the job for the least money possible. In this article we show with clear figures where new mini excavator prices in Türkiye start in 2026, and which figures are genuinely “cheap” and which only “look cheap and end up expensive”.

Note: in searches, “excavator”, “digger”, “mini excavator” and “mini digger” all refer to the same machine. In the industry, tracked diggers from 1 to 4 tonnes are called mini excavators, or colloquially mini diggers. The prices in this article are for this class.

How much is the cheapest mini excavator in 2026?

Current starting prices of the new mini excavator models with warranty sold by EKSFORK (excluding VAT):

ModelClassEnginePrice
Rippa R101.2 t10 HP diesel299.000 ₺ — the cheapest new excavator
Rippa R3271.7 tKubota D722, 21 HP549.000 ₺ 479.000 ₺ (campaign)
Rippa R3503.5 tEnclosed cab, air-conditionedCall for price
QD35 Tractor with Excavator Arm35 HP tractor + diggerDiesel349.000 ₺

So in 2026 the realistic floor price for a new mini excavator with warranty and service in Türkiye is around 300.000 ₺. Figures well below that are either used machines, imports without warranty, or “bare” offers that don’t include VAT, delivery or attachments in the price.

The difference between cheap and poor quality

Buying a cheap machine isn’t wrong; buying cheap in the wrong place is. Within the same 1.7-tonne class there can be a 150.000 ₺ difference between two machines, and where that difference comes from matters:

  • Engine: A well-known engine such as Kubota or Yanmar costs more than an unbranded one, but its spare parts are available everywhere and it holds its resale value.
  • Warranty: EKSFORK machines come with a 2-year or 2,000-operating-hour warranty. On a machine without warranty, a single hydraulic pump failure wipes out the difference.
  • Service and parts: With 14 service points in 12 provinces and 382 spare parts in stock, a broken-down machine doesn’t sit idle for days. A “cheap” machine without parts costs you money every day it doesn’t work.
  • What the price covers: Are the bucket, breaker line, delivery and VAT included? Once these are added, the offer that looks cheapest often turns out to be the most expensive.

Why does EKSFORK sell below the market?

There is no mystery behind the low price: we import machines directly from the manufacturer, without intermediaries; we deliver to all 81 provinces from our head office in Kartal, İstanbul, and we don’t pass intermediate costs such as showrooms and dealer margins on to the price. Customers who pay more for the same machine are usually paying for these intermediate layers. For details, see our Why so affordable? page.

Which cheap excavator suits your work?

  • Garden, greenhouse, landscaping, tight spaces: the 1.2-tonne R10. The lowest price, fits through gates, moves on a trailer.
  • Infrastructure, channels, foundations, earthworks: the 1.7-tonne R327. Kubota engine; with its campaign price, our best-selling model.
  • Contractors, hire, heavy work: the 3.5-tonne R350 with cab.
  • Both field work and digging: instead of an excavator, a tracked tractor with excavator arm — two machines’ worth of work in one.

6-point checklist when buying a cheap excavator

  1. Ask in writing whether the price excludes or includes VAT.
  2. Have the warranty period and hours written into the contract.
  3. Ask about the engine make and spare part stock.
  4. Find out where the nearest service point is.
  5. Clarify whether delivery and the bucket/attachments are included in the price.
  6. See the machine in person or watch it working on video.

Summary

  • In 2026 the floor price of a new mini excavator with warranty is about 299.000 ₺ (Rippa R10)
  • The best-selling class is 1.7 tonnes; the R327 is 479.000 ₺ on campaign
  • With a cheap offer, always ask about the engine, warranty, service and what the price covers
  • EKSFORK keeps prices low because it imports without intermediaries; it doesn’t cut corners on quality or warranty

Frequently asked questions

How much is the cheapest new mini excavator?
At EKSFORK the cheapest new mini excavator is the 1.2-tonne Rippa R10; its 2026 price is 299.000 ₺ + VAT. A 2-year warranty and delivery to all 81 provinces are included.
Can a cheap excavator be good quality?
Yes; the price difference usually comes from the layers of intermediaries, not from the machine. What you need to check are the engine make, warranty period, spare part stock and service network. If these are in place, a cheap machine is not a poor one.
Excavator or digger — which is the right name?
Both describe the same machine. The official name is excavator; tracked models between 1 and 4 tonnes are called mini excavators or, colloquially, mini diggers.
Isn’t a used excavator cheaper?
Its initial price may be lower, but it has no warranty and its maintenance history is unclear. When a new machine with warranty is available for around 300.000 ₺, a used one usually ends up costing more overall.
Are delivery and VAT included in the price?
The prices on the site exclude VAT. Delivery depends on distance; when you get a quote, ask for the net figure including delivery in writing.
Which is the cheapest mini excavator?
Among new machines with warranty, the cheapest mini excavator is the 1.2-tonne Rippa R10. What sets it apart among cheap excavators is that, alongside its low price, it comes with pilot controls, a hydraulic thumb and a 2-year / 2,000-hour warranty; take these items into account when comparing it with a used machine.
